StreetSquash, an affiliated Squash-Education Alliance youth enrichment program located in Harlem, NY proudly serves as an eight court community facility whose mission is to provide consistent, long-term, and reliable support to the children, families, and schools in Harlem by improving academy performance and providing intensive squash training and competitive opportunities was in need of a gut renovation. The program’s facility is also home to the Columbia University Men’s and Women’s Varsity Squash Teams. The facility’s existing courts had experienced years of high-impact play, resulting in worn flooring, outdated finishes, and inconsistent wall performance. The program wanted to improve playing quality, enhance safety, and refresh the overall aesthetic for all players.

Sunrise Courts achieved these goals for the facility in August, 2025. The crew came and executed a complete renovation which included sanding and repainting all 8 singles court walls to repair impact damage as well as the installation of 8 new floors to improve playability, traction, and shock-absorption. 

The result is that StreetSquash now has a spectacular new facility with consistent tournament-standard playing surfaces, pristine playing conditions, and enhanced safety and performance for players at all levels!
